To brighten my kitchen, I received a Preserve Recycled Plastic Tableware pack. Included are four plates, four bowls and four cups. And, they are fantastic!

Having young kids, I find my dishes and cups to met many an accident, so plastic is a great alternative for our family. The set is strong and the pieces are all surprisingly large. My kids like eating off the tableware, they think it is something special just for them. I think they are pretty great as well. The Wild Thornberrys Season One {giveaway}

DVD and Blu Ray arrived in stores May 17, 2011!

Nickelodeon has committed to bring back some classic shows - one being The Wild Thornberrys This highly and long anticipated release is surely to quickly become a favourite of old fans, as well as new. The hit series follows the Thornberry family as they travel the world in their Communications Vehicle (Comm Vee) looking for rare animals to film. After an encounter with an African shaman, their youngest child Eliza was given the power to speak to animals. Every episode in this adventure-packed DVD set follows Eliza as she comes face-to-face with an assortment of animals, continents and danger. Encounter wildlife in all its natural glory and eavesdrop on Eliza's conversations with silverback gorillas, pythons, crested grebes, tapirs, capybaras, antelopes and opossums while the Comm Vee travels on!

Upon receiving a review copy, Emily (who is 13) picked up the DVD set and said I remember this! She and my younger daughter, Jillian (4) settled in together to watch. I loved seeing them enjoy this DVD together.

The Wild Thornberrys is bright, really well animated, and it has great sound quality. Right away the viewer is drawn in with exciting plots and story lines. Each episode is one crazy adventure after another. We love that Eliza is able to speak to animals, how cool would that be? We are excited to own The Wild Thornberrys Season One, it is a great value for hours of family entertainment and fun, priced at a suggested retail of $29.93.

If you were a kid in the late 90's you'll remember and love The Wild Thornberrys and want to definitely add this to your DVD collection. If you are new to the series, you'll enjoy getting to know the Thornberry family and join in on their adventures.

Justin Bieber ~ Never Say Never DVD {giveaway}

The inspiring story of an ordinary kid....

Love him or him....you can't deny that Justin Bieber is a phenomenon of his generation. His story is inspirational to any young performer who is striving and dreaming to make it in the entertainment world.

It just goes to show that you can never say never!

As a Canadian it makes me proud to watch this young man reach super-stardom, even more because he is a local boy who made it big. Justin Bieber was born in Stratford, Ontario, about 20 km from where I live. I loved watching the DVD and seeing landmarks which I recognize, and all the references to Stratford. I think for me, that was my favourite part of the DVD.

Justin Bieber is the heart-throb of girls and teens all across the world. The DVD Never Say Never chronicles Justin's journey from small town, rural Ontario to some of the largest stages of the world. I was impressed that a boy with such humble beginnings had a dream and was able to see it through. All the early footage proved that he had very ordinary beginnings, and I loved that!

Emily (13) has been his fan from his early break-through. Her room is covered with magazine pull-outs and she can tell you anything you would need to know Justin related. My youngest daughter, Jillian (4) loves JB too, she says she is going to marry him. Both girls have loved watching the DVD over the last few days. Even my son gets in on the action, asking if it would be possible to grow out his hair to look like Justin's famous "flip".

If you are a fan, you will love this movie! You will find that emotions will run high and maybe even find yourself in tears. I did! I think it made me cry to watch a local kid make it big, and it just goes to prove that anything can happen. Perth county is a long way from....anywhere!

The facial toner comes in a spray bottle - which I adore! I like to spray a small amount into my hand and than spread over my face and neck, but, you can also spray it directly onto your face. Wow Wow Wubbzy! ~ Wubbzy Saves the Day {giveaway}

Just this morning we were enjoying watching plump robins hop all over our yard. Who doesn't love seeing the return of birds in the spring time? Wow Wow Wubbzy does too!

Celebrate ~ It's Mother's Day! {+giveaway}

Happy Mother's Day!

I hope that everyone enjoys a wonderful day full of laughter, and love.

It doesn't matter if you are an old mom, a new mom, or a mom to be. Today we celebrate what it means to be a momma, and the special relationships we have with our children.

I hope my faithful readers know how awesome they are, and how much I appreciate them for continuing to visit me here. There was a time when I was caught up in the bigger is better mentality, and really wanted to become a big-time blogger. And, then I realized, why? I like my little blog and the bonds I have formed with people because of it. I like that I can read the comments and not feel pressure to post if I don't feel like it or have the time. I have never received any hate, or negative comments or emails, and for that I am very thankful! I continue to receive fun opportunities, and if I feel like it I will email a company and see if they would be interested in joining me at my blog.

One of my daily haunts is Heartsy to check out the deals. I have purchased many things, which I love, all at great discounts. I guess that I just love handmade items, and getting more bang for my buck is awesome. Especially, with our high Canadian dollar - making the purchase even better! Today, I was browsing and getting to know some new shops and as I was purchasing a deal, I thought to myself - It's Mother's Day, share the love! So I did.

Celebrate Mother's Day with NAVOH Handbags {giveaway}
