Oh Our Defective iPhone 4

We bought our iPhone 4 when Apple has released it last year. I think it was on September 2010.

We didn't realized on the defects until we were using it for a few months. I had a problem with my IP4 camera. 

The camera shutter is not opening and the camera is not working. I was quite upset for a while but didn't bother so much because I have my Sony camera. But still, twitter isn't fun anymore because I can't tweet photos. I was trying to upgrade and downgrade the iPhone4 IOS, but the camera is still not working. So it must be the hardware, not the software. I brought my IP4 to Etisalat branch where he got me the IP4, and they replaced me with a new IP4 for FOC. It was great! Now I can use my IP4 camera again.

My IP4 defect is still ok compared to hubby. His IP4 had problems with receptions. I told hubby to bring it to any Apple branch and ask them what to do. They might have replace it for hubby too. Apple did admit about their miscalculation on the IP4 antenna before. So his IP4 might be the defective version with the miscalculation. But as an engineer, he tried to fix it by himself. Seriously degil!!!

Firstly he opened his IP4. Lepas dah buka, then he asked me about antenna. Since I dulu ambil subject about Antenna, RF and microwave, mesti I tahu all about it. Oh my, it was about 10 years ago, how can I remember? Even my work before didn't involved with too much technical details.

He tried to put a small piece of paper, then a small piece of foil, then lastly he tried to tape a large piece of foil so that the reception will pickup effectively and tadaaaa it works! No more call drops or no reception.

Definitely we learn our lessons to wait for a while before buying gadgets. Usually they are not testing it properly and release the defective or incomplete version when it was first released. Betul tak B? But the truth is that the real geeks actually couldn't wait! lol

Paparazzi

Papa, Paparazzi...(while singing Lady Gaga's song)

One weekday, hubby YM-ed me and told me he wanted to go to Dubai after work. Semangat! He said he couldn't wait until the weekends to get the telephoto lens for his DSLR. I was like, "ok love, whatever makes u happy." =P So he drove to Dubai with us.

After he acquired the "belalai gajah", he smiled and was excited to start shooting. So all night he was asking me where should we go after this so that he could take photos with the zoom lens. I just said yes, ok after this we could plan something. The next morning he can't wait and took a candid photo of me sending Izz to the school bus from our 16th floor apartment.

I wasn't excited because I am not into photography. Then while he drove, he let me try to take some shots around Abu Dhabi. I was hooked and really enjoyed the telephoto lens. It's fast and sharp. Here are some of the Telephoto Walkabout photos that we took around Abu Dhabi.

After this there would be more "skodeng" photos a'la paparazzi. ;)

I was thrilled when hubby bought the kinect sensor

And I feel like inside the Minority Report when using my body movement as a controller

And we had so much fun playing the Kinect game together,

in the comfort from our own living room =)

Back With A New Air

As much as I don't need it, hubby created a few scenarios that I need to have it. The whole day yesterday he was seducing me to get the new Air. I guess other people who have the same gadget junkie husband would understand how my situation is. Anyway, I am happy to see he is happy that I am happy using this lappy =) True that one part it might be useful for me because I can carry it anywhere inside my handbag

I wish I could blog more about Raya Korban. But sadly there's nothing to blog about. It's just that for Raya Haji, the school is close for a week. Hubby also cuti, but he needs to prepare for his new project in Doha next week. Raya over here is one day earlier than Malaysia and I cooked Kabsa rice for raya

I miss to watch the acara sembelih lembu dekat Kampung Losong and I miss my parents' cooking. 

Usually during raya korban, they will cook my favourite daging goreng kunyit. And i just received a news that my neighbour which I knew since I was small has died this morning. Inna Lillah wa Inna Ilayhi Raji'oon. It makes me realize that life is short, and I don't want to spend a lot of time thinking what other people thinks. Whatever it takes to make me and family happy, that's good enough right?

Was so excited yesterday when hubby ajak pergi cari the

Excited nak guna, but sayang...

Kena make sure iPad ada baju dalam and luar dulu,

Baru confident nak guna. =)

We went at 2pm, after hubby dah habis kerja

Then jumpa the screen protector dekat Carrefour

But Burberry, LV, Gucci was closed.

We went again at night

Went into Burberry, they said the stocks not available

Went to LV, they said dah discontinue

Gucci pun takde...

Oh memang takde rezeki.
Padan muka saya yang mengada ngada. =(

Well, it's not the end of the world

In the meantime, I just bought the rubber protector

And a canvas sleeves

The best cover is yet to come bebehhhh

My New Kitchen Toy

Breakfast - The most important meal of the day.

What do u always prepare for your family for breakfast?

Saya sudah mati kutu...Asyik ulang benda sama hari2...cereal, american breakfast, roti canai segera, or muffins... weekends je saya rajin buat nasi lemak ke, mee goreng ke, nasi goreng ke sebab time tu hubby boleh watch the kids.

Finally I found the easiest way to prepare breakfast with this new toy!

Can make roti bakar, french toast, waffle, or sandwiches just in a few minutes!

Apple TV and iTunes are Great Combo!

Between all my husband's gadgets, I love the Apple TV the most. Why?

1. It's the longest gadgets that he has ever used. Why I say that? Because everytime he owns a gadget, he usually will re-buy the same one but in the higher or new version. e.g: MacBook, Macbook Pro, Macbook Air & Consoles & Cameras & Handphones etc.

2. I can watch my kiddoz pictures and videos streaming from my macbook to apple tv.

3. We do not need longer time to wait for the torrent movies finished downloading. We also do not need to call that chinese guy to bring the copied DVD which had a very poor quality and deteriorating the satisfaction of watching movies. With Apple TV, all we need to do is just to rent from iTunes!!!
