Tropical Traditions ~ All Purpose Cleaner {giveaway}

There are many effective household cleaning products available at the local supermarket. Next time you go to pick one up, take a look at the label...what you see may be surprising!

Many of these products contain harmful chemicals, (ie. chlorine bleach, ammonia). It is risky to have these chemicals in your home in the case of accidental ingestion or physical contact. Breathing in the fume of some chemicals, especially over time, can be damaging to your health.

Furthermore, small amounts of residual product can be left on surfaces or in the air following cleaning, adversely affecting the quality of air in your home.

I can personally attest to attest to the fact that cleaning products are able to make you sick. I was cleaning the bathroom on Christmas Eve and I suddenly became dizzy, short of breath and sick to my stomach. I had to go outside (in a snow squall) to get some fresh air. I had been overcome with the fumes in a confined space, and this can be very serious.




Tropical Traditions sent me a bottle of their All Purpose Cleaner. I immediately exchanged it with my stand-in cleaner. I have used the All Purpose Cleaner every where from the bathroom to the kitchen and even on an unfortunate incident with pencil on the wall. (which it took off, by the way)

I am even letting my children use the All Purpose Cleaner, and that isn't something I would normally do.

This summer we are heading up to our cottage for a couple of weeks.
