I love the look of canvas wall art and have always wanted at least one for my home. Ordering is a breeze, using Canvas Press' easy to navigate site. Steps are clearly outlined and your options are well defined.
When making my canvas masterpiece I started by selecting the canvas style. The choices are standard 3/4" thick, or gallery wrap - anywhere from 1 1/2" thick to 3" thick. The next step was to choose the size, you can choose anywhere from 8" x 10" to 36" x 48"! Select your choice of border, choices are image, mirror or colour border. Then in the next step you can show your creative side...choose your colour (black & white or sepia), if you would like text, and whether or not to touch-up your picture. And, finally, upload the picture you would like made into your canvas. Then I was able to crop the picture as I desired.
Choices are plentiful, it was easy to use and fun too! I loved that you could tweak your choices and your canvas takes on a completely different look.
My choice of picture for my canvas is of the beauty that surrounds me every day. Drive down the street from where I live and I can stare at that scenery every day, natural beauty abounds and I am now able to bring it right into my home to enjoy the whole year long. It is a focal point on my wall and a conversation piece. My wrapped canvas is the perfect size at 16 x 20.
Many of us have loads of pre-digital photographs that we would love to have made into a canvas print. Canvas Press offers to make a scan of your photo if you aren't able to. Simply mail them your old prints, negatives or slides.
