Meridane {giveaway}

Meridane Designs sent me a beautiful pendant for my review, which arrived neatly and safely tucked in a gift-giving box, along with a gift card. I am so moved by the power of their unique symbol, yes, it is a lovely sterling silver piece of jewelry, but it is so much more.

Look closely and you will find every letter of the alphabet, as well as numbers one through nine. It is called the What U Love symbol, it came to be after the phrase Love is all U need was superimposed letter upon letter and then a peace sign was added to the design. As they were looking at it they began to realize that they were seeing letters that weren't in the phrase. The family began to look for all the letters and were able to find every letter as well as the numbers.

Meridane Design is a family owned business, they have developed a mission statement of Spread Love and Empowerment through their What U Love symbol.

Seeing that the symbol contains every letter of the alphabet it can mean anything to anybody at anytime. It gives the wearer the power to have their symbol mean whatever you would like, and it can contain a different message each day you wear it.

Wearing the What U Love symbol over to my parents last week, I thought I would put it to the test. I took the necklace off and handed it to my Dad, asking him what he saw. After a few minutes of studying the pendant he told me he saw the symbol as representing family and a parent's love and guidance for their children. Of course, that was absolutely correct!

That is the beauty of the symbol, it can mean what ever you want it to. It truly does warm my heart and give me a sense of serenity when I have it around my neck. And, in this day and age, I don't think there are too many things one can say that about. I would go as far as to say that the symbol has power to give one hope.
