JBK Pottery {giveaway}

Stumbling across JBK Pottery felt like finding a piece of me that was always missing. I adore/want/and need everything I see at their website! JBK Pottery is a source for small kitchen accessories that will truly simplify my (and your) life. I am talking about things like bread warmers, cookie stamps, pot minders and brown sugar savers.



JBK Pottery made me one happy blog reviewer by sending me a clay maple leaf brown sugar saver. It drives me crazy to have hard sugar, after all, how do you get brown sugar for your breakfast cereal if it is solid as a rock? Not to mention, sugar has gotten expensive, and when you pay good money for grocery products you want them to last and be in good condition when you are ready to use them.

The Brown Sugar Saver comes in many adorable designs. I am a proud Canadian and love the maple leaf, but I would be happy with any of the cute ones. You have got to check out the owl - he is adorable.

Before placing in my sugar canister I soaked the maple leaf in water for about fifteen minutes. Then just plunked it in with my brown sugar. It will keep my sugar soft for up to three month. AWESOME! As one of JBK Pottery's best sellers it is also great for use in your marshmallow bag. I definitely need to invest in a few more, I never thought of using them in marshmallows.

How much would you pay for this kind of product, which in the end saves you money? How does $3.95 sound?


Pots boiling over on your stove can cause such a smell in your home, not to mention the mess that is left behind on your stove. I can not tell you the number of boil-overs I have had over the years. JBK Pottery also sent along their Pot Minder. I drop my pot minder in the bottom of a pot when boiling potatoes or pasta, (But, it can be used with any liquid that might boil over.) The unique design and ceramic material modify the bubble formation when the pot begins to boil. The disk will also 'chatter' on the bottom of the pot, telling you that the boiling has become more intense.

Guess, what...this little life-saver is also $3.95 each!
