Grampa is a long-haul truck driver. He isn't a novice at what he does, but, still we worry about him when he is on the road. Grampa can be gone for up to two or three weeks at a time and it is very important to us that we are able to keep in touch with him when he is gone. We are well aware that calling Grampa in his truck is a fairly frustrating experience. His phone will cut in and out and often times we can't hear him or he can't hear us. Sometimes we are calling with an important message from home, or we sometimes just call to check in with him. Regardless when we call we want to be able to talk with him.
This is where my year-end review comes into play!

Cell Ranger STIX is marketed as a vehicle cell phone booster. It is very easy to install, Grampa was able to quickly and easily have it set up and ready to roll. It plugs into the cigarette lighter in your vehicle. STIX boosts your cell signal with it's microprocessor, which significantly improves cellular reception.One of the first questions I asked was whether Cell Ranger STIX would improve reception in both Canada and US, since Grampa was a frequent traveler in both countries. Happily, STIX works well in both countries.
Since installing the Cell Ranger STIX, we are able to get in touch with Grampa anytime now as he criss-crosses the country. STIX has worked wonders with his cellular reception. Most of the time he has full bars and his phone never cuts out any more! Grampa has been on the road for twenty years and we can only wish that we would of had STIX all that time. Each and every time we put in a call, Grampa is sure to pick up, but most importantly, we can hear him and he can hear us! No more shouting and having to call back later.
STIX has given us much more than just allowing us to speak with Grampa, it has given us peace of mind!
While, it is great for us as his family, it has also been a life-saver for Grampa when speaking to his customs brokers. Before having STIX he was having to usually call multiple times in order to get his exit and entrance numbers. This has been a huge time saver for Grampa!
Overall, Cell Ranger STIX has been a great addition in Grampa's truck. STIX delivers exactly what it promises to do and is completely reliable. Now, if STIX could only do something about the roar of the truck engine....
