I have been admiring their adorable hand puppets after finding Cate and Levi through a blog review earlier this year. Learning that Cate and Levi is local (to me) and handmade right here, as well puts them over the top.
The Cate & Levi Collection is HANDMADE at their studio in Toronto, Canada. Together with a talented production team, they oversee every aspect of this collection. All the materials are sourced as close to home as possible. This process cuts down on shipping and reduces our carbon footprint. The choice of reclaimed wool reduces demand for new materials that require both water and oil for production. The goal is for these items to leave the softest possible pawprint on our planet.
For inclusion in my holiday gift guide I was sent the sweetest onesie I have ever seen (of felt).
This onesie is 100% organic cotton and a warm cream colour, with an adorable sheep applique. It is incredibly soft and I can not wait to snuggle my little niece or nephew in this onesie. I can tell it is very warm and would feel so nice against a new babies skin.
The applique is made from reclaimed wool. Doesn't that little sheep just jump out at you?
All of the clothing at Cate and Levi is available in either short sleeve t-shirt or long sleeve onesie. They even have cute matching knotted hats.
