As devices are invented to keep people connected and entertain, I sometimes think all those devices are making life a little more complicated. There is definitely complication when it comes to charging all these devices and keeping them powered up. And, living in a small space with three young children adds to the chaos of the situation. We can't have expensive gadgets plugged in all around the house, you just know in this kind of home something would be touched and end up broken. So, often times our devices ended up dead. And, if they are dead they really aren't any good to you, are they?

To our rescue came PowerMat ~ Wireless Charging. It is small and discreet on our counter and it can charge up to three devices at one time, while only using one outlet. Now, I am not going to even pretend to claim that I am a technical person, but, I do know when something works and does what it is promoted to do.


For the purposes of this review I interviewed my hubby asking him to share his thoughts and opinions on the PowerMat. I was curious to hear what he said, as I would consider him an informed consumer when it comes to electronics buying. Before he buys anything electronic he takes the time to research the product and read what other users have to say. He spent some time researching PowerMat and was prepared for it's arrival.

We are charging our smartphone, DS Lite, and iPod on the PowerMat, and he couldn't be happier. Cords and adapters were apt to disappear around here, so the PowerMat has been a great solution to an ongoing problem...no more cords to keep track of! The PowerMat uses magnetic induction to power up your devices. I had read somewhere that you shouldn't have magnets near electronic devices, but hubby said this was different and completely safe and didn't harm electronics. Using the PowerMat to charge up a device, takes the same amount of time as any of the regular adapters.

He likes the chime that the PowerMat has, so the user knows that everything is connected and your device is charging properly. And, he mentioned that he liked the storage for the adapters.

When summing up, he said that PowerMat is awesome and is definitely worth the investment.
