World's Best Origami {giveaway}

My son is always asking us to make him paper airplanes. He has been watching how to make them and he is getting pretty good at it, but, we are pretty bare bones when it comes to folding paper to make anything which might resemble the real deal.

Recently, I was given the opportunity to check out a new book called World's Best Origami.

Written by Nick Robinson, who is professional origami artist. Mr. Robinson has been folding paper for thirty years. He is the creator of several hundred original origami designs and he also teaches origami to schools, and art centers.

World's Best Origami is a collection of over 100 unique origami. It is a book full of step by step instructions, with lots of illustrations along the way to help aid you in learning the art of folding. There is even a section on choosing the best paper for your project. Throughout the layout of the book you can easily see what level your project is categorized as.

I think we will turn to World's Best Origami time and time again {especially in the winter months}. There is literally hours of entertainment and fun contained within this book. Plus, it is a little challenge each time. I think it is great for older kids and adults alike, and younger kids will enjoy watching 'magic' form right in front of their eyes!
