I have never used or heard of a body candle before I had the opportunity to review a Scandle Body Candle. In fact, I was quite perplexed as to how to use this candle. I received a four ounce Scandle Originals Travel Tin in the delicious scent of warm vanilla sugar.



I visited Scandle to find out how to use and enjoy this cute candle. I was so pleased to find a thorough question and answer section which had a lot of useful information. I learned that Scandle candles can be burned solely for the enjoyment of a burning candle - ambiance, fragrance. Or, Scandle can be used as a body lotion or massage lotion. If you want to use it as a body or massage lotion you simply let your candle burn for about thirty minutes and then blow it out. You can then pour the melted wax onto your skin. It won't burn you because Scandle candles are high grade cosmetic soy which burns just a degree or two warmer than body temperature.

My travel tin has been the perfect size for several moisturizing treatments to my dry, cracked, winter ravaged hands. My hands truly suffer during our cold, windy winters - even with being diligent with wearing mittens they still become so dry. I have a lotion addiction, where I find myself continuously applying hand lotion, but, can find little relief. Scandle Body Candle has done amazing things to my hands. I am impressed with how my hands feel soft and silky after an application. My hands tend to bleed, but after using Scandle you would never know that my hands had all those little cracks which before (using m Scandle candle) were so sore that they were bleeding.

The whole experience is rather relaxing, with the candle burning and the enjoyable fragrance. I can now see what all the buzz is about body candles. I will definitely visit Scandle again when my travel tin is finished up.
