Today, I am sharing a stocking stuffer!

SnackTAXIs were invented way back in 2003 as a way to stem the tide of plastic ziplock bags that flowed from our house to the landfill when our 3 kids started school! We pack over 500 lunches every year, and had definitely fallen prey to the easy appeal of the ziplock bag.
SnackTAXIs are easy too - really! They are made in a home-based workshop by talented (and fun!) local sewers - they are committed to keeping our business local, and will never outsource their labor.
I have a confession....I was once the plastic baggie queen. And, not that long ago, either. We have some reusable lunch containers, but I was in need of something that didn't have snap closures. My youngest daughter isn't able to manipulate the types of containers which snap and lock in place. When lunch is only twenty minutes (at school), I couldn't have her fumbling and attempting to get into her lunch, as those twenty minutes clicked away, so, it was back to plastic baggies. Until, we received a package from snack TAXI.
Snack TAXI is on a mission to create fun and friendly items that make it easy for everyone to move their food in sustainable style. Their materials are lead and phthalates free, and machine washable.
And, her lunch bag is coming home without her food still inside. Jillian's is able to quickly and easily access her food and she is able to spend her twenty minutes consuming her food and not just trying to get to it.
Snack TAXI has made me so happy on two fronts, less baggies in the landfill and that Jillian isn't having any issues with her lunch containers. Snack TAXI are perfect for younger children. But, you know if I needed to pack a lunch, I would be happy with using snack TAXI's as well.
Choose from several cute designs , so go ahead and stuff those stockings full next month. For those of you who are creative, you can design your own, personalized with a name. Not only practical, they are cute, kids like using them, and it is the kind of gift which makes you proud to give.
Thank you Snack TAXI for joining me for my Holiday Gift Guide.
