Today we are talking about toys that are going to last, and that you know you can trust!

Born and raised in Europe, I grew up with and around a wide variety of well crafted, natural toys, often simple in nature that were either made of wood or soft fabrics. The toys were so well made that my 4 year younger brother was able to enjoy the same ones I had once played with. European toys are not only made of natural materials but also natural finishes that you can feel confident giving to the youngest of children. The toys are further crafted in a way that they encourage the imagination, creativity, and development of fine motor skills so important during each age group.

Goblin Kids made me think...at what time did we (as a society) think it was a good idea to give plastic toys to children? Speaking personally, I don't think I ever realized what could be in those colourful plastic toys that my child was chewing on. While, I think there has been some improvements in plastic with stronger testing and standards, I for one am not taking any chances any more. Besides, natural toys are simply better!

These adorable little guys have the sweetest expressions on their faces. These toys are designed in Australia, and are award winning. They are made from sustainable maple wood and textile products. Each animal is hand painted and uses non-toxic glue and water based paints.

Receiving five, I knew right away that there may be a problem. But, it all worked out! I took the toys out of the bag and said I would divide them up between the kids. Emily, my oldest daughter even came to take a look and she thought they were adorable. She took one for her desk...leaving two each for the younger kids.

The younger kids love playing with them together. They like them! And, I like them for being eco-friendly and safe for the kids to have.
