We have received so many great items for review, but as far as my daughter Jillian is concerned the LunchPunch takes the cake...er...sandwich! She asks for dolphins and butterflies several times throughout the day. The mom in me is very happy - I have complete control over her snacking choices when putting together her sandwiches. Though her favourite is peanut butter, she is also very receptive to other fillings and spreads. And, even better, each and every time the sandwich is completely eaten.
The LunchPunch easily cuts through bread, while keeping it's shape and soft. It is made from sturdy FDA certified food-grade plastic and is safe for the dishwasher.
When I first became aware of the LunchPunch I tried to replicate making cute sandwiches for my kids by using cookie cutters, and they just don't work. The LunchPunch by design is made specifically for cutting the crusts off of bread slices, while preserving the most amount of sandwich as possible. The LunchPunch is also taller than cookie cutters.
We were sent two sets for our review. Jillian loves the Critter Cutters, while Matthew prefers the Match and Munch puzzle set. Coming soon....I see a new set of LunchPunch is becoming available and I know Jillian is going to want them...badly! New this summer is the Sandwishes..a set of whimsical princess cutters.
I am excited to put my LunchPunch cutters to the test this school year when each day I will pack the kids lunches with a sandwich or two made with the LunchPunch.
