My home is quickly becoming Tropical Traditions dependent. And, that's a good thing! Everything I have tried has transformed the way I look at consumer products and this month's product review is no exception.
January's review is their Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil Hair Treatment.
Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil for Hair Treatment is specially made for hair application. It has a slightly higher amount of protein than our other coconut oils, due to the presence of coconut solids. This Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil is a truly unrefined coconut oil.
My favourite way to use the Hair Treatment is to massage it into my scalp before going to bed. I place a towel on my pillow, because it is a tad greasy. As I sleep, this wonderful product begins to work it's magic. Don't be surprised if you have visions of coconut macaroons as you sleep! In the morning I just shower as normal and the result is great hair. You can also use this product as an after-shampoo conditioner.
This is good stuff! It works wonders on my dry, itchy scalp. (That is why I originally used my kitchen coconut oil). Now, I have a smaller jar to sit on my bathroom counter. I don't use it every day, I find using it bi-weekly is perfect.
