I am excitedly awaiting the birth of a new little neice NEXT WEEK! Being first time parents, my brother and sister-in-law are thrilled, but nervous. Parenting is unpredictable, and you just never know what is going to happen next, especially with babies. I have been trying to answer my sister-in-laws questions as best I can from my experiences.
I have said it before and I will say it again that making sure your child is nourished is one of the most stressful parts of having a newborn and all the way through childhood. Many a day, I have stressed about the lack of eating on my child's behalf. Kids are picky eaters and introducing new foods always consisted of making mealtime fun. So much so, just this morning I found myself doing the choo-choo-train with my four year old daughter to get her to eat hot cereal. I guess old tricks never go out of style, because she thought it was funny and was eating the cereal.
I am calling my sister-in-law tonight and letting her know about Babycenter.ca.
Babycenter.ca is jam-packed with a wealth of information for moms, from getting pregant right through to preschool - this is where smart moms {and dads} go to find answers.

There are so many questions to be answered when first introducing foods to your children. And, often times finding the answers can be difficult. BabyCenter has a new First Foods section, geared to helping moms and dads find the answers they are looking for when feeding their children. First Foods is brought to us by our friends at Cheerios.

I think First Foods is going to be a great resource for Christine, my sister-in-law. I see great sections, like how to feed your baby on the go, and how to choose foods when at the grocery store. As, well as what solids to introduce at each age milestone.
