Halloween Baking ~ Kraft Whipped Peanut Butter

Peanut Butter is one of my most favourite foods, it always has been! I love peanut butter by the spoonful, spread on toast, the filling in a sandwich, used as a dip for fruit, and for baking!

And, I have tried it all when it comes to peanut butter - smooth, light, crunchy, natural, creamy. Some I like better than others, but, still all are good. Early this Fall I saw a new peanut butter on my local store shelf. I picked it up and contemplated buying, but, I had just stocked up with four jars of peanut butter...so, I put it back. I planned that I would buy this new Whipped Peanut Butter when my stock was depleted. (which doesn't take long around my house)

A few weeks ago I stumbled upon a review post about Whipped Peanut Butter and I left a comment. To my surprise and delight I was offered a jar for my review as well!

Kraft's new Whipped Peanut Butter is light and fluffy and easily spread. It is great for dipping and spreading on crackers or fresh bread. Have you ever had peanut butter on top of warm bread? YUM!!

You can see how light and airy it is. And, it spoons up so easily.

We have been enjoying our Whipped Peanut Butter straight from the jar, either as a spread or by the spoon full!

But, I knew before my jar was eaten up, I wanted to try making one of our favourite peanut butter treats.

These are oohey - goohey good, peanut butter rice crispie treats! They are so easy to make - just a cup each of corn syrup, sugar and peanut butter (all melted together) and then add six cups of rice crispies. The topping is melted chocolate chips and butterscotch chips. To add a seasonal flair we spread Halloween sprinkles. This is such a lick-your-fingers good treat and so easy to whip up.

I love baking with peanut butter, especially these no-bake types of treats!

As for whipped peanut butter, our jar is almost gone now, it is definitely going on my shopping list for the next trip to the grocery store!
