For years I was sending bananas in my kids lunch box, and for years their bananas returned home at the end of the day a mushy mess. Then one day, my daughter brought home a banana which she had received in a trade and I questioned her as to how this particular banana could make it through the day, while ours could not. I like that little fingers are able to open and shut all cases, because after all, if kids couldn't get them opened and closed they really would be any good to us.
