Banana Guard ~ guard your banana {giveaway}

Are you fed up with bringing bananas to work or school only to find them bruised and squashed? Our unique, patented device allows for the safe transport and storage of individual bananas letting you enjoy perfect bananas anytime, anywhere. The Banana Guard was specially designed to fit the vast majority of bananas. Its other features include multiple small perforations to facilitate ventilation thereby preventing premature ripening and a sturdy locking mechanism to keep the Banana Guard closed.

For years I was sending bananas in my kids lunch box, and for years their bananas returned home at the end of the day a mushy mess. Then one day, my daughter brought home a banana which she had received in a trade and I questioned her as to how this particular banana could make it through the day, while ours could not. Her answer was that the banana had it's own carrying case. From that day forward I vowed I needed to find out what this carrying case was all about...and then one day I discovered Banana Guard.

The original Banana Guard (as are all products found at Banana Guard) is FDA approved, recyclable plastic, BPA-free and made in Canada. The Banana Guard has small holes throughout for air circulation, for prevention of over-ripening (unlike the banana in my picture) and it snaps shut securely to keep your banana in place.

Small things tend to make me excited and the banana guard has made me so happy! It does a fabulous job. Each and every day I send a banana in my kids lunch and each and every day the banana guard comes back home empty. The kids are so happy with their in-tact banana at lunch time and it gets eaten!

Banana Guard has a whole family of products designed to keep other favourite fruits intact and safe while in travel.

The Froot Guard is designed for protecting larger round fruit like apples and peaches.

The Froot Case is designed for smaller fruit like grapes and plums.

This is the perfect sandwich keeper. It is even microwave safe!

The Fruit guard, Fruit case and S'Wich guard are all made to the same high standards, in Canada. As well, all products are dishwasher safe and available in a variety of fun colours.

I like that little fingers are able to open and shut all cases, because after all, if kids couldn't get them opened and closed they really would be any good to us. These products are durable and stand up well to daily wear and tear. But most importantly, this is the only way one should be transporting fruit...it keeps fruit delicious and as fresh as it was when it was packed into your lunch bag.

Purchase on line, as they ship world wide, or find a retailer near you.

Thank you Banana Guard for sending these great products our way! Who doesn't want to enjoy their fruit fresh and bruise free?
