Tropical Traditions ~ 100% Natural Shampoo Bar {giveaway}

Earlier this year I tried using a shampoo bar for the first time. I thought it was okay, but didn't reorder when it was used up. When I saw that Tropical Traditions carried a shampoo bar I thought this would be a good opportunity to give shampoo bars a second chance, after all, I have been quite impressed with Tropical Traditions products. I just had a sneaky suspicion that the shampoo bar from Tropical Traditions would live up to their high standards of quality and value.

Not just being a natural way to wash your hair, I love that there is minimal packaging and when I am done with the shampoo there isn't a large non-recyclable bottle to throw in the trash.

I began my shower like any other day by wetting my hair. Using the shampoo bar I started to rub in against my hair...right away it lathered up and I was able to massage my scalp into a full lather with just a little bit. Immediately I noticed a difference, I rinsed my hands after shampooing and they felt clean. I noticed there wasn't any residue from shampoo on my hands, which leads me to think there isn't any residue build up on my hair as well.

My hair felt squeaky clean. I was able to pull my brush easily through my thick, curly hair. After it air dried my hair felt full of body, with lots of natural curls. I didn't feel there was any need to use any styling products afterward. And, there was a fresh, clean scent that lingered throughout the day.

My first go around with a shampoo bar was less than inspiring.
