GREEK - Double Date by Marsha Warner {giveaway}

This week we are busy packing our bags to spend two glorious weeks on vacation. We plan to take it easy and play at the beach as much as we can. Tucked into Emily's beach bag is a copy of the brand new book GREEK - Double Date. Are you familiar with the ABC Family series Greek? This is a Harlequin Teen book, which is a new series of books that goes beyond the tv series.

I can remember as a young teenaged girl reading romance novels, (usually one a day in the summertime) and loving them. When the opportunity came for Emily to read this book I thought she would love it. It just seemed like a perfect summer read!


Synopsis: Major oops! When Casey Cartwright's brother begs her to be nerdy Dale Kettlewell's date to the sure to be boring Honors Engineering Awards, Casey says yes. Even though Dale is totally not her type...and might have a crush on her. Ugh. But it's a nice thing to do and Casey's always been the nice girl.

But now, that night conflicts with the biggest event of the semester, the All-Greek formal. Casey already has a date lined up: hot transfer student Rob Howell. He's her plan to get over her sexy-slacker ex, Cappie. And, even nice girls get to be bad sometimes, right?

What to do? With a little help from BFF Ashleigh, unwanted advice from frenemy Rebecca Logan and even a push from Cappie, what Casey does may surprise even herself...


Sounds like a fun, light book that is perfect for reading while lazing in the summer heat! It reminds me of the books I read in my younger years, and think it will be a book that Emily really enjoys.
